Holistic development of students’ personalities being one of our chief objectives,there has been an emphasis on student participation in various sports and games. The institution has a Sports Committee to promote sports and games through right provision of space, equipment, funds and sponsorship for students for various sports events. The students have participated in various intercollegiate, interuniversity and interstate competitions in cricket, hockey, volleyball, shooting ball, shuttle badminton, athletics and so on, and have earned numerous medals and trophies for the college through the years. In mountaineering, in particular, we achieved a special distinction in 2003 with the selection of three of our degree students by the Adventure Sports Association of India for a mountaineering expedition (2003) involving an altitude of 18000 feet.

The college encourages Adventure sports too. Every year a team of students are sent on a trekking camp with Adventure Sports Club of Karnataka. Ms. Priyanka of Department of Management Studies is one of the Best Gliders of our country.

NCC: The College started NCC in the year 2004-2005. Overwhelming response from the students has won us many laurels. NCC cadet, Company Senior Underofficer Kavitha K.R., participated in the Republic Day parade held in New Delhi on 26th Jan 2005.

NSS: The College has a National Social Service Wing called Jagriti for Social Action which is tied-up with an NGO, FAME INDIA - A school for Spastic children.
