The college promotes creative, social and managerial skills
of students through departmental forums. Several onstage
and offstage events are organized by these forums to explore
latent talents and equip students with the right blend of
abilities to meet the challenges of a dynamic environment.

SPANDANA
This is a platform for the arts and commerce students meant
to showcase and promote their talents and skills. The activities
of Spandana cover theme-based exhibitions, historical fashion
shows, subject- based quizzes and product launches as also
music, dance, rangoli, craft, vegetable carving and other
creative arts.

SAMAJIKA SANKIRANA
This is an association of the sociology students formed with
the objective of providing them with exposure to the current
realities of social life and turning them into responsible
citizens. Institutional visits, community service, social
surveys, cultural database creation, and events such as quizzes,
extempore speeches, and memory tests are some of the features
of this association.

BIO-ENIGMA
Bio-enigma is a science fest organized by the students of
life sciences. It aims to expose the students to the latest
developments and career opportunities in life sciences, foster
their creative and interactive abilities, scientific and competitive
spirit and bring to light their scientific potential. As part
of the fest, various infotainment events, a high-profile symposium
and intercollegiate competitions are conducted.

SURABHI
This is an annual fest of our computer science department
meant to showcase the budding IT talents of the students,
and provide them a wide exposure to the emerging trends in
various fields of IT and get them opportunities to interact
with IT experts, through a variety of events and programmes.

COLLEGE LITERARY
CLUB
The college has a literary club to identify and nurture literary
talents and interests in the students and raise current affairs
awareness in them. The club encourages them to develop written,
oral communication and presentation skills, along with capabilities
to think, analyze and interpret through various imaginative
and entertaining programmes of contemporary value.

KANNADA SANGHA
The college has a Kannada Sangha meant to create awareness
about Kannada language and Karnataka’s rich heritage
of culture, history, art and literature among its students
and inspire them to use Kannada language in their day-to-day
life. The Sangha arranges lectures, theatre workshops and
competitive events in Kannada poetry, writing, dance, drama,
music, painting, etc.

Kshitij is the forum of the management students and its motto
“To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield”
effectively defines its objectives. The forum identifies and
nurtures managerial and entrepreneurial talents in the students,
enlightens and inspires them on achieving success in challenging
environments by ethical means, and builds team spirit, and
leadership skills in them, through various programmes including
workshops, industrial visits, interactive sessions with corporate
leaders as well as management students of other colleges,
summer placements, publication of quarterly newsletters.

This is the association of the microbiology students formed
to build and sustain their interests and talents concerning
the fascinating world of microbes, by means of a variety of
novel, non-curricular programmes and feature-rich events. |

MARIE CURIE PHYSICS ASSOCIATION
MARIE CURIE PHYSICS ASSOCIATION - is a platform
for interaction of students with teachers on the campus, and
scientists, industrialists and society outside.
- Model making, drawings and charts, preparation for seminars,
and workshops are some of the training programmes .
- Interclass competitions in debate, quiz, elocution and
group discussions are conducted to inculcate competitive
spirit among the students.
- Industrial visits and projects open avenues for the students
after graduation.
- Demonstration of laboratory equipments to rural school
children.
“Give back to the society more than you take”,
is our motto.

UTTEJANA
With a view to fostering social awareness among its students,
the college has created a unique platform called Uttejana
in partnership with FAME India, an NGO working for spastic
children. Uttejana regularly stages edutainment programmes
involving developmental concepts and issues, for the benefit
of the students.
